The downpour which started around 1.00pm also hits some part of Lagos where residents and motorist were left stranded by heavy flood.
A trending video of the havoc wreaked by the rain showed residents coming out to see the extent of damage done by the rain just as they complained that the poles were recently installed in the affected areas.
“A long bus painted in a yellow colour and believed to be used for conveying religious people going to worship centre was seen abandoned by the middle of the road after about three poles fell on it,” The Nation report.Ā
