Aaron Glee has received a life imprisonment sentence from a Leon County courtroom in Tallahassee, the capital of Florida, for the brutal killings of Oluwatoyin Salau and Victoria Sims in 2020.
Tragic events unfolded in 2020 when Oluwatoyin Salau, a Nigerian activist who played a prominent role in local anti-police brutality protests, went missing for several days.
Disturbing details later emerged, revealing that Aaron Glee had abducted and sexually assaulted Salau before ultimately taking her life.
According to investigators, Glee encountered Salau at a bus stop on June 6, where she disclosed her recent sexual assault and lack of a permanent residence.
Seemingly offering assistance, Glee invited her to his home for bathing and rest. Salau agreed, and Glee enlisted the help of Victoria Sims, who frequently provided support to Glee, to drive them to his residence.

After Salau showered, Glee sexually assaulted and ultimately killed her, taking extreme measures to conceal the crime. Authorities discovered Salau’s lifeless body covered with leaves in Glee’s home.
Sims, who had been kidnapped by Glee and murdered to hide the evidence, was also found wrapped in sheets in another room.
Rebecca Figueroa, a close friend of Salau’s, expressed deep sorrow and regret for not being able to protect her in light of the sentencing.
