LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Christian Pulisic is reportedly displeased with Chelsea because he won’t accept the title of “Captain America” as he approaches a transfer to Milan.
The Athletic reports that despite leading the United States men’s national team and close to a €20 million (£17 million/$22 million) transfer to Milan, Pulisic has left Chelsea disappointed by his reluctance to accept the nickname and realize his full commercial potential.
According to the article, club management reportedly considered his unwillingness to participate in media obligations to be wearisome, especially before a visit to the United States.
Pulisic will have a club medical before reuniting with Ruben Loftus-Cheek after Milan and Pulisic had already agreed on a price.

After being presented as a new Milan player on Tuesday, the England midfielder disclosed that the signing of the USMNT star is almost complete.
Pulisic was forced to leave Chelsea after having a difficult time getting playing time there and being limited to just eight Premier League starts.
A return to Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle, a Premier League foe of Chelsea, were also mentioned in connection with him, but he decided Milan was the ideal place for him to advance his career.
Pulisic is expected to complete his transfer to Milan by the end of the week, ending his four-year stint with Chelsea in the Premier League.
