ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umar Radda, says he has fulfilled his campaign promises in just eight months of his administration.
The governor said this in a press release signed by the Commissioner for Information, Bala Salisu Zango.
Also, he promised to provide more social and infrastructural development to Katsina state.
Governor Radda made the declaration at Daura Emir’s Palace while delivering the Ed-Elfitr Sallah celebration message.

Furthermore, he disclosed that some of the fulfilled campaign promises include security, education, water supply, health, institutional reforms, civil services, and many more.
He said: ”My administration recruited 7,325 teachers, awarded foreign scholarships to Katsina State indigenes to study MBBS Medicine in Egypt, procured Twenty Metric Tons of fertilisers for rainy season farming, distributed palliatives to the vulnerable people in the state, procured drugs and hospital equipment to health facilities across the state, upgraded two PHC Clinics to General hospital to mention but a few.
”Also, my administration made several efforts to provide infrastructural developments to the state, awarded contracts for the dualization of township roads in Katsina Metropolis and Eastern bypass roads.”

He extended warm greetings to the people of Katsina State and wished them a peaceful and joyous Sallah celebration.
The governor also urged the people to fervently pray for peaceful coexistence both within the state and across the nation.
