LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Members of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore gathered in force at the Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, clamouring for the immediate release of their President, Bello Bodejo.
Bodejo’s arrest on January 23 at the Miyetti Allah’s office in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State stirred controversy, as he was apprehended during the unveiling of a vigilante group.Â

Since then, he has remained in custody under the watch of the Defence Intelligence Agency.
The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), took legal action on February 5, 2024, filing a motion ex-parte seeking to remand Bodejo until the conclusion of investigations and his subsequent arraignment in court.
Following court proceedings on February 22, 2024, the Federal Government was given seven days to formally charge Bodejo, with the deadline expiring after 15 days. In response, Bodejo’s legal team filed a motion for his unconditional release.
