LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-A traditional leader in Lagos, Chief Cole has penned a letter to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, emphasising the critical importance of ongoing transport initiatives.
He particularly outlined the Blue and Red Lines, in addressing traffic congestion and unauthorised stoppages in Lagos State.
In the letter, Chief Cole commends the governor for his commitment to realising the vision of past leaders, including Late Pa Lateef Jakande and former Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He urged sustained dedication to ensuring the successful implementation of these vital projects.

The completion of the blue line rail network and the expansion of road infrastructure, including dedicated BRT lanes, are among the key priorities outlined by Chief Cole.
With the recent commissioning of the Red Rail commercial line, he underscores the significant benefits of rail transportation in improving mobility and reducing congestion.
Furthermore, Chief Cole calls for proactive measures to address ongoing road construction projects, such as the 4th mainland bridge, and stresses the need for clear regulations and enforcement mechanisms to deter traffic violations.
