LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Former Minister of Culture and Tourism, Femi Fani Kayode says the reasons for the recent abductions and kidnappings in Nigeria is to garner cash.
He said the cash which is then sent abroad to buy more arms and fund terror.
“Secondly to destabilise our country and to discredit and undermine the credibility of our President and the Federal Government,” he added.
Mr. Kayode who was is also a former Minister of Aviation said this in his column in the Eagles Online.

According to him, this is precisely what was witnessed when the Chibok girls and other children were abducted over the years and the motives are the same.
The former Minister emphasises that Nigeria is under attack from both external and internal forces seeking to weaken and divide the nation.
He warns against naivety in attributing these crimes solely to monetary motives, stressing the involvement of international criminal syndicates, foreign governments, and local collaborators in orchestrating these acts of terror.
Furthermore, Fani-Kayode contends that Nigeria’s strength and unity pose a threat to vested interests seeking to maintain regional dominance and exploit the continent’s resources.
He argues that Nigeria’s potential as a formidable force in world politics is viewed as a challenge by those seeking to maintain control and influence over African affairs.

Urging Nigerians to wake up to the reality of the situation, Fani-Kayode calls for decisive action to address the root causes of insecurity and thwart the destructive agendas aimed at destabilising the nation.
