ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- President of the African Development Bank Group, (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, says the industry has supported the cultivation of wheat, rice, maize, cassava and soybeans in Nigeria.
Mr Adesina disclosed this on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
He said the Northern part of Nigeria benefitted more from the donation.

The former Nigerian Minister of Agriculture said AfDB is helping Nigeria to solve the food crisis which has seen prices of food items continue to rise in the country, leading to increasing hunger.
He said the bank provided the sum of $134 million to Nigeria for its emergency food production programme.
