ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has said that Nigeria’s problems is beyond mere politics, that they require spiritual solutions.
The RCCG spiritual leader disclosed this during his visit to the Kaduna State House on the invitation of Governor Uba Sani on Sunday.
Adeboye said: “It has become more and more clearer (sic) to us that the problem our nation is facing is more than political. Our problems will require a bit of spiritual solution.”
Adeboye stressed further, that “We as a country are blessed; we are blessed with people with great intelligence, we are blessed with all manners of resources and yet we have so many problems.

“And it is not as if people in authority are not trying their best; they are doing as much as humanly possible.”
“Then we found out that when you have problems that are beyond human ability to solve, you call on the Almighty. The reason we call Him Almighty is because He has the power to solve all problems.”
Pastor Adeboye’s comments came amid public outcry on prevailing economic hardship in the country as inflation drives food prices up.
Recall that last week, Nigerians hit the streets in protests on economic hardship in Niger, Kano and Lagos States.
Responding to the public outcry on the rising cost of food driven by skyrocketing inflation in the country, President Tinubu had directed the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security to release about 42,000 metric tonnes of grain, including maize, millet and garri.
On Sunday, Tinubu vowed to make Nigeria a net exporter of food in Africa through aggressive mechanised agriculture.
