LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nigerian comedian, Chukwuebuka Amuzie aka Brain Jotter, has revealed why he stopped making crossdressing skits.
He stated that he started skit making as a crossdresser, Madam Ogadi, but later switched character.
Speaking on the recent episode of Channels TVās āRubbinā Mindsā, Amuzie said he had to stop making those type of skits because it was ānot sustainable for himā.
He also stated that āpeople might watch it once or twiceā, but they would eventually get tired of seeing a man in female clothing.
āI have tried it, there was a time I was creating content with the character āMadam Ogadi in a church and they were applauding me, calling me funny guy. So it got to my head and it was almost a niche for me,ā he said.

āNow I know better, and I am like that stuff is not sustainable for myself and I just do not buy the idea because it would not last. People might enjoy it once or twice, but you are not a woman. This is except you are doing it exceptionally well.
āFor example, Tyler Perry and the character of Madea, people love Madea. So you have to get to that point where people would not be able to tell you anything but you can not be wearing a womanās cloth with beards.ā
With millions of followers across his social media pages, Brain Jotter remains a prominent figure among skit makers in Nigeria.
