ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A fatal accident on the Zaria-Kano expressway claimed the lives of sixteen passengers traveling in a commercial bus at Taban Sani Junction, Tashar Yari, in Kaduna State.
The incident, which occurred around 11:20 am yesterday, resulted in four individuals sustaining injuries.
The Kaduna Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kabir Nadabo, attributed the lone accident to over-speeding.

The driver reportedly lost control of the Toyota Bus with registration number TRB 674ZG 35XB, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and into a ditch.
Nadabo expressed the tragic nature of the road traffic crash and urged travelers to avoid over-speeding, emphasizing the critical importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations.
