ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed the apprehension of a notorious kidnapper, Chinaza Phillip, by police operatives from the Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
The suspect, accused of engaging in high-profile kidnappings in Abuja, was subsequently handed over to the FCT Police Command on Friday, 19 January, 2024.
Chinaza Phillip, known for his involvement in several abduction cases in the capital, is now in police custody awaiting legal proceedings.
His arrest Howe, marks victory in the fight against criminal activities, particularly kidnapping, within the FCT.

The PPRO, FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh who disclosed this on the command’s Twitter handle, assured the public that more details about the arrest and the suspect’s criminal activities will be communicated soon.
This development is expected to shed light on recent kidnappings in Abuja and potentially unveil connections to other criminal networks operating in the region.
Voiceofnaija.ng had reported about the recent cases of kidnapping in the capital territory, including the abduction of a 13-year-old teenager in the Sagwari Estate Layout and the kidnapping of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, a 400-level student at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, alongside 22 others in Bwari.
These incidents have sparked public outrage, prompting calls for urgent action by concerned stakeholders to curb the rising menace.
