ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- In an interview with the BBC, Ajoke, daughter of the late TB Joshua, opened up about the emotional turmoil she endured growing up within the Synagogue community.
Despite her father’s public preaching of love and mercy, Ajoke revealed a starkly different reality.

A disciple, who knew Ajoke from birth, disclosed, “She is his biological daughter but from another woman outside wedlock. She was kind of the black sheep of the family. He hated her. And he punished her for being born. Her existence was probably the biggest threat to his reputation.”
Ajoke described being isolated and treated as an outcast within the Synagogue, with her existence shrouded in secrecy.
“I was in primary school, was made to move to the disciple’s room. It didn’t know what it entail to be a disciple but I was made to joined”, she said.
