ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A 32-year-old Abubakar Ibrahim, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for alleged illegal possession of a firearm.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a statement on his X account on Monday.

Hundeyin said, “Illegal possession of firearm: 32-year-old Abubakar Yahaya Ibrahim and two others were stopped by police officers at about 2am in Igbo Elerin area.
“Though all three fled, Abubakar was eventually apprehended and searched.
“Found in his bag were a locally fabricated double-barrel firearm, one expended and one live cartridge. The investigation is ongoing.”
