ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Reports reaching voiceofnaija.ng have it that popular and veteran Yoruba culture promoter, poet and writer, Chief Olanrewaju Adepoju, is dead.
He reportedly passed on at about 7pm on Sunday, 10 December, 2023, at his residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
It was gathered that late poet whose contemporaries are aged 100 and above, transited after a protracted old-age-related illness.

According to Vanguard, the late valiant ‘ewi exponent’ who waxed several records in fighting against societal ills and military adventure in politics was said to have never experienced being in the classroom to learn.
The respected Islamic cleric and writer will be buried according to Islamic rites on Monday, 11 December, 2023 by 4 pm.
