OGUN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- An unidentified Nigerian man who was found sleeping Under the bridge in Oshodi Lagos after spending 21 years in the United States, has shared his story with “Kokoro Alate“, an online podcast.
He revealed that he had dreamt that he was flying with wings to different locations before he started consistently talking about Nigeria.
During the interview which was shared on the social media, the man said: “It first started with dreams while in the U.S, I will see my self in the dream flying with wing to different locations.
“First, it used to be within the U.S but on a faithful night, in the dream, I saw myself flying with wings and in the dream, I could see a signage saying Welcome to Nigeria and I woke up with a great fear, shouting Nigeria right from the dream. The fear was so great because I never planned coming to Nigeria as at that period in time”.

The man added: “A month after the dream, I found myself In Nigeria, I had long wandered all around the city of Lagos before I came back to my senses that I’m now in Nigeria.
“I slept in Oshodi, under the bridge for 2 good years, I was at ‘Ori-Oke Pakoto’ in Ifo local government area of Ogun State for good 6 years, that’s where I got total recovery of my memory loos- that’s why I can narrate my ordeal so far.”
The host of the show asked the man if he had any property before the whole issue started and he replied: “I used to have a house, wife and children here in Nigeria before I travelled but my elder brothers sent my wife out of the house I built while I was away, one of my sons lost his life in the process. The only surviving son I have now already has his own family and life has not been easy for him as well.
“I was referred here by one of my friend who has been helping me since I regain my memory.“
