ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has officially denied reports of a ceasefire in Gaza that would allow humanitarian aid to enter and foreigners to evacuate to Egypt.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas has now entered its tenth day, with no sign of an immediate truce.
“There is currently no ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza in return for removing foreigners,” a statement from Netanyahu’s office said.

As of Monday, the death toll from Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip has tragically risen to approximately 2,750 since the onset of the conflict, following Hamas’s initial deadly attack on southern Israel the previous week.
The Gaza health ministry reported this alarming increase in casualties.
Furthermore, around 9,700 individuals have been injured as Israel continues its intensive air campaign, targeting various sites within the Palestinian coastal enclave.
The situation remains highly volatile, with both sides entrenched in the ongoing hostilities.
