ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The military has rescued four students from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, who had been kidnapped from their hostel on Tuesday.
The abductees, originally seized by armed men in the early hours of Tuesday from their residence in Angwan Kaare, Keffi Local Government Area, were safely recovered on Thursday by the Nigerian Army’s 117 Battalion, Keffi, following relentless efforts.
Lieutenant Colonel Auwalu Inuwa, the Commanding Officer of the battalion, confirmed the rescue in an interview with the Punch in Lafia.

He recounted that the students were located in the dense foliage of Angwan Gauta, Keffi LGA, after an exhaustive search by the military.
The rescued students have been identified as Rahila Hanya, Josephine Gershon, Rosemary Samuel, and Goodness Samuel.
After undergoing necessary medical examinations, they will soon be reunited with their families.
