LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Following a wave of airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian Airforce (NAF), the Military has Neutralized over 100 Terrorists on mass movement and their bodies burnt beyond recognition in Zamfara State.
Recall that in October 2022, air strikes were conducted in various locations in Zurmi, Tsafe, Faskari and Jibia local government areas of Zamfara and Katsina States.
NAF spokesman, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, had then noted that the increase in air strikes, especially in the Northwest, was in line with the directive of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, to all Air Component Commanders to ensure they, alongside sister services and other security agencies, free the entire region of terrorists and other criminal elements.
