LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Kevin-Prince Boateng, who briefly played alongside Lionel Messi at Barcelona in 2019, has shed light on the rivalry between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Messi was intrigued by Ronaldo’s move to Juventus in 2018 and asked Boateng about scoring goals in Italy.
Boateng recounted their shower conversation, explaining that Messi was curious about Ronaldo’s success in Serie A.

Boateng informed Messi that Ronaldo’s presence made scoring goals even more challenging, as he consistently found the net during his time at Juventus, scoring 101 goals in 134 appearances.
Messi and Ronaldo have since moved on to different clubs, with Messi joining Inter Miami in MLS and Ronaldo playing for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
