The children, identified as Philomena Kpaakpa; 4 and Benedict Kpaakpa; 2, were said to have purchased some items from a female hawker marketing around the church’s premises.
It was further gathered that they followed the hawker, who claimed not to have ‘change’, to get their balance, while their mother walked in front only to realize too late that her children were no longer behind her.
After a long search that proved abortive, the children were reported missing, as the hawker and children were nowhere to be found.
According to the spokesperson for the State Police Command, Catherine Anene, the matter is yet to be officially reported to the Police, at the time of filling this report.
