Actors Uche Jombo and Alesh Sanni, have reacted to video clips of some youths who were teargassed at Lekki toll gate after Mohbad’ski candlelight procession last night.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Alesh argued that it was a candlelight procession and not a protest so people were not supposed to have gathered at the tollgate.
He wrote: “You guys missed the point of this whole thing!!!! This is Candle Night and not Protest!! The initial walk that was supposed to replace the Protest was cancelled just becos of something like this…

She said, “So candlelight vigil for mohbad finished at 8pm and some people went to toll gate… why? I saw that tear gas video and thought it was at the vigil….. it was after sometimes as a people we can over do things.”
Hours ago, the Lagos Police Command had explained why it resorted to the use of tear gas, to disperse mourners who came out for a candle night process in honour of Mohbad.
