LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have trailed and dislodged some gangs of suspected criminals, killing two in the process.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement, stated that the hideouts from which the suspects were dislodged were in Yola South and Fufore Local Government areas.
“The operation, which was carried out on 11 September, followed the kidnapping of one Mrs Becky Ladawus, a resident of Nyibango, Yola South LGA,” the statement read.

Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have trailed and dislodged some gangs of suspected criminals, killing two in the process.
Two of the suspected kidnappers who laid ambush to prevent the security agents’ access to their hideouts were killed in the operation, which also led to the recovery of two pump-action guns, charms, chains, and mobile phones.
“The outcome of these successes followed a collaborative strategy designed by the command and the hunters to rescue kidnapped victims and arrest the culprits,” the Police explained.
The statement further noted that Commissioner of Police Afolabi Babatola had directed officers to further chase the suspects on the run and ensure they were denied the opportunity to regroup anywhere in the state.
