IBADAN, NIGERIA(VOICE OF NAIJA) – iROKO TV co-founder, Jason Njoku, has reacted to the Presidential Elections Tribunal verdict on Thursday.
He took to his X handle after President Bola Tinubu celebrated his 100 days in office on Wednesday, September 6.
He said that after one hundred days in office, some Nigerians are still ââwholeheartedly” defending what he termed ââOld Testament levels of suffering.”
He tweeted, “There are people in who look at everything that has been done over the last 8 years by APC & are satisfied with a job well done. The absolute destruction of the strongest black country on planet earth & some folks are happy with it. Fear those people. Fear them.
“Still, after 100 days of renewed shege. Folks are wholeheartedly defending Old Testament levels of suffering. If this is what victory looks like. Well done, you have truly tried.”
The post has garnered mixed reactions from Nigerians on social media.
A social media user said, “You know itâs a function of training. Train up a people along ethnic lines and they will defend a murderer at their own peril. Seen a people suffering and defending someone because itâs their tribe. Seen a country where life is run on bribe. I have been to two government parastatals in the last 3 months and was advised to âdropâ of I am serious. Itâs a way of life. Nigeria is not structured to function.”

Chosen one reacted, “It’s called Stockholm syndrome. For the uneducated ones, that means being in love with your captors. In layman’s terms, it means being abused and denigrated but worshipping your abusers simply because you were taught to do so. When the Israelites faced challenges in the wilderness, their first taught was to go back to Egypt where they have been slaves for 400 years.”
“Wow that means no Nigerian should ever wish for the PDP days ever and Tinubu will take us to promise land. Hmmm. thanks for this,” another user reacted to Chosen one commented.
A concerned Nigerian wrote, “The Nigerian people are not honest with the reality. Many are dieing yet they still can’t understand the level of harm been done by this govt.”
One user reacted, “Mr jason just don’t bother yourself again..the people are jubilating are the very poor ones who cannot afford to even buy ordinary pure water.. any body that is still believing that there is hope in Nigeria is waisting his or her time..if anyone can afford to Japa pls do it by all means cause nig don cast.“
