LAGOS, Nigeria (Voice of Naija) – Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor, Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, as the new Soun of Ogbomosoland.
Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in the state, Mr. Olusegun Olayiwola made this known in a statement on Saturday that the announcement followed the long-drawn processes specified under the law.

He said; “His Excellency congratulates the new Soun-elect on his ascension to the throne of his forebears.”
The Commissioner said that the prestigious role of the monarch-elect will allow him to play a crucial role in promoting harmony, understanding, and tolerance among his people.
