Although it is unclear if the warehouse looted housed food items promised by Tinubu’s administration, SaharaReporters reports that it contained palliatives meant for victims of the 2022 flooding, described as one of the worst floods in Nigeria’s history.
It was further learnt that some of the food items have expired. However, that did not stop the residents from looting the warehouse.
This is one of several looting incidents that have occurred in States across the country since the Covid-19 pandemic.
