President Bola Tinubu has received the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, Nyesom Wike, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting is coming on the heels of the building collapse two days after the former governor of Rivers State assumed duty as the FCT Minister.
The agenda of the meeting was not made public but it may not be unconnected with the building collapse in Abuja on Wednesday in which about two persons were feared dead and 37 persons wounded.
It was expected that the Minister would brief the President on the unfortunate event and the level of casualty recorded.

Meanwhile, following the collapse of a two-storey building on the ever-busy Lagos Street in Garki II district of Abuja at about 11:45pm on Wednesday night, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has ordered the immediate arrest of the owner of the collapsed building.
Wike, who gave the order when he visited the scene of the incident on Thursday morning, applauded the ongoing rescue efforts, saying that it was unfortunate that they woke up to the very disturbing news of the building collapse.
The FCT minister also expressed disappointment that it had taken the FCTA a long time to resettle natives of Garki village, saying that he will take immediate action to see that the indigenes of the village were resettled and then the government has to plan out the area.
