LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – WhatsApp serves as one of the most commonly used applications for instant messaging, Users can effortlessly share pictures, videos, voice notes, contacts, locations, and documents with their friends and acquaintances.
However, due to the image compression employed by the app owned by Meta, many users prefer alternative methods for transferring high-quality pictures.

- Tap on the attachment icon, denoted by a paperclip (on Android) or a ‘+’ sign (on iOS), located at the bottom.
- Choose the image you intend to share.
- In the subsequent step, you’ll find an HD icon positioned at the top, alongside other options like rotate or crop.
- Click on the HD button to send high-quality pictures, then press “send.”
