LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Romeo Lavia turned down a transfer to Liverpool and has now decided to join Chelsea from Southampton.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and Southampton have reached an agreement. They plan to pay a base fee of £53 million ($67 million) for Lavia’s services, with a possible add-on fee of £5 million ($6.3 million).
Lavia joins the Blues after they also signed Moises Caicedo ahead of Liverpool in a British record-breaking £115 million ($146 million) deal on Monday.

After players like Axel Disasi, Nicolas Jackson, and Robert Sanchez, the midfielder is expected to become Chelsea’s eighth new acquisition of the summer transfer season.
Michael Olise will soon be joining the Blues after leaving Crystal Palace. His release clause was activated by the Blues on Tuesday, despite the fact that the Eagles administration disapproved of their tactics.
