The Fountain of Life Church has announced the funeral plans of its late founder, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who passed on recently.
In an e-flier shared on its Facebook page, the funeral event will hold on 8 and 9 September, 2023.
A service of songs will hold in honour of the late Odukoya on Friday, 8 September while the funeral service will hold on Saturday, 9 September.
Both events are slated to take place at the church headquarters located in Ilupeju area of Lagos State.
The church also announced that it would hold only one service on Sunday by 9:00am and there will be no onsite or online children church.
The late clergyman died on Monday, 7 August, in the United States of America, aged 67.
Meanwhile, former Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has mourned the death of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

Osinbajo, in a statement shared on X formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday, said Odukoya’s death was devastating.
He wrote: “Dolly, I and our children are devastated by the news of the passing of our dear friend and brother, Pastor Taiwo. Our hearts and prayers are with Tolu, Jimi, Tobi, Timilehin and Jomiloju.
“We will miss the firmness of his faith in the most difficult times, the soundness of his exposition of the scriptures, his fidelity to the true gospel of Jesus Christ, his childlike love of God translated so easily to worship, his transparency, his servant leadership, the affection and the love he showed so easily, his honesty, forthrightness, and humility at all times.
“He inspired a whole generation of (then) very young men and women, many of whom are now grandparents and still in Christ and will by His grace be until we meet him again at the resurrection. Amen.”
President Bola Tinubu, in a statement signed by the presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, described the late Odukoya as a man whose teachings expanded the frontiers of charitable endeavours with particular respect to the education and health sectors.
“President Tinubu sends his heartfelt condolences to the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and associates of the highly revered religious leader, whose teaching, outreach and good work expanded the frontiers of charitable endeavour with particular respect to the education and health sectors.

“The President notes the worthy contributions of Pastor Odukoya to the development of the country, supporting the weak and vulnerable while providing a platform for many to realise their dreams through the teaching of the word of faith.
“President Tinubu highlights the importance of the active sustenance of the outstanding legacies of the renowned clergyman by all who knew him, trusting that the Almighty God will continue to comfort the family.”
Reacting to the news of Pastor Odukoya’s death, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, said: “It was with utter shock and sadness that I received the news of the passing of Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, the founding Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church.
“Pastor Odukoya was a dear brother and friend. He was a dedicated man of God whose faith and belief in God never shook or waned despite experiencing the obstacles of life.
“He was steadfast in worship and diligent in service. He was a great preacher and teacher, whose life and ministry have continued to impact the lives of people within the Christian body and outside. Pastor Odukoya’s demise is indeed a heart wrenching reminder that this life is indeed fleeting.
“My sincere condolences to his dear children, Tolu Ijogun, Jimmy Odukoya, Tobi Enuha, Jomiloju and Timilehin Odukoya, and the entire Odukoya family.
“I also commiserate with Pastor Odukoya’s friends, associates, the congregation of The Fountain of Life Church, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, and the entire Christian body.
“May his soul find rest with God, and may the good Lord comfort his friends, family, and all members of his church. Amen.”
