“It was early hours of Tuesday, 1 August. Those bandits confidently entered our village, while Saidu and his uncle with some other members of his family hid themselves for protection against being captured, those bandits brought them out of the hidden places and took them away,” Mallam Habibu told journalists in UDUS.
Mallam Habibu said the kidnappers had not contacted the family to demand ransom.
“I guess they are in transit throughout the day because all calls put through to their numbers were not reachable, and we haven’t received any call from anyone regarding them and their wellbeing,” he stated.
Mallam Habibu further sought the support of all and sundry in prayers for release of the captives.
“All we request from everyone now is fervent prayers for their release without any harm on them,” he added.
