ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Following the removal of the petrol subsidy and the economic challenges facing Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu says he is collaborating with the Labour Unions to introduce a new minimum wage for workers.
Speaking on Monday during a live broadcast on the state of the nation, he assured workers that their salary review is round the corner.
He said: “We are also working in collaboration with the Labour unions to introduce a new national minimum wage for workers. I want to tell our workers this: your salary review is coming.
“Once we agree on the new minimum wage and general upward review, we will make budget provision for it for immediate implementation.”
