LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Ten women and 100 others have been arraigned by the Adamawa Police Command for looting Government-owned warehouses and privately owned shops.
Voiceofnaija.ng earlier reported that on 30 July, suspected looters invaded Government and private-owned warehouses and stored in search of food items.

The youths reportedly started the looting spree at the grain warehouse located at PZ Roundabout, a stone’s throw away from the Yola International Airport.
The Spokesperson for the Police Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement with journalists earlier today, stated that “the accused were on Monday charged to court for prosecution.”
“The command had arrested 110 suspects and recovered a lot of items. Investigation is ongoing to apprehend more suspects, especially those who participated in the act as well as to recover more items,” he added.
