The leadership of organized labour is reportedly in a meeting with the Federal Government of Nigeria over the impending strike action.
The labour delegation led by Joe Ajaero the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) president was said to have arrived at the conference room of the Chief of Staff office, venue of the meeting at about 4.50pm.

Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, will join the NLC and Trade Union Congress (TUC) for the meeting.
According to ThosDay, the meeting initially scheduled for last Friday could not hold as the labour representatives walked out of the meeting because of the absence of government delegation.
