LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Kanu Nwankwo has been given an appointment by the new governor of Abia state, Alex Oti, along with 30 persons to various roles with effect from 11 July.
The governor announced this in a statement released by Kazie Uko, his principal press secretary.
According to reports, Kanu Nwankwo replaced Felix Anyasi Agwu, the club’s departing administrator, as the sole Chairman and Administrator of Enyimba football club.

Recall that Enyimba FC cemented their hegemony over the nation’s club football last month by winning their 9th Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) championship.
Despite their domination, the Alex Oti-led Abia state government recognized the need for a leadership shift at the club’s apex; as a result, Kanu Nwankwo has taken Felix Anyasi Agwu’s place, who oversaw some remarkable achievements for Enyimba FC.
