ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has paid a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Photos obtained by voiceofnaija.ng show that Fayose, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was all smiles during his visit to the Nigerian President.
This visit is the first by Fayose to President Tinubu since his inauguration as Nigeria’s President on 29 May, 2023.
Feelers are that Fayose also worked to ensure the emergence of the former Lagos Governor as President albeit as a member of the main opposition.

There have also been talks about Fayose defecting from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress (APC), but such rumors have yet to be fueled, until this recent visit by the Ekiti strong man.
Details of the meeting were also not available as at press time, as only pictures from the visit were shared on the social media by the President’s media team.
This visit is also coming barely 24 hours after Olisa Metuh, another chieftain with ties to the PDP paid an unprecedented visit to the Nigerian President in Abuja.
