LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) A one-month-old baby boy has been reportedly found on the banks of the Gurara River in Kuka community in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to a resident, Saidu Ibrahim, a fisherman who went to the river to check his nets discovered the baby wrapped with clothes with N1,000 note in the clothes.

He said: “The fisherman then took the baby the chief’s palace. I think the chief directed that the baby be taken to the social welfare department of Kwali Area Council.”
Spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was unavailable to confirm the incident as at the time of filing this report.
