ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has called on President Bola Tinubu to stop the alleged persistent persecution of Igbo residents in Lagos and other South West States.

The apex socio-cultural group alleged that the Igbos were being persecuted because they voted and supported the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, in the last election.

Ohanaeze however, commended President Tinubu for reopening Seme border, stressing that the development had restored economic activities that were paralyzed during the tenure of Muhammadu Buhari.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro.
