Sallah: Governor Approves One Week Break For Primary, Secondary Schools

ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The Kano State Ministry of Education has approved 23 June, 2023 as the date for the commencement of Eid-el Kabir Sallah break.

The break according to him, is for the public/private primary and post primary schools in the state.

Permanent secretary of the ministry, Malam Ahmad Tijjani Abdullahi, disclosed this to newsmen in a statement on Thursday.

He noted that the Sallah break will last for one week.

The break is supposed to end on 1 July, 2023.

He added that all pupils/students of the boarding schools are to resume on 2 July while those in day schools are to resume on 3 July, 2023.
