LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Spotify, the music and podcast streaming service, has launched a new user interface for MacBook and PC users worldwide.
The corporation announced it on Tuesday via a blog post, to synchronize the desktop experience with the mobile app, the app has added a few new features, such as revamped Your Library and Now Playing views.
It is now simpler to access saved music and podcast collections in Your Library thanks to the app. Both the “Now Playing” display and the Friend Activity feed on Spotify have been moved.
According to the firm, the revamped UI will include a newly designed Your Library, which will be located on the left side of the app window.

This will provide a better overview and make it easier for users to access their saved music and podcast collections. Additionally, the revamp will make switching between playlists simple.
The Now Playing display will also be visible on the right side of the app.
Information on the song, the artist, their tour dates, and more will be available in the updated Now Playing display. Users will also obtain transcripts for some programs.
Additionally, the newly updated user interface will provide users the option to rearrange and pin playlists in the Library as well as resize the Your Library and Now Playing view menus.
Also, Spotify announced that the “friends” icon, which can be found in the top-right corner of the main content area next to the user’s profile photo, will now provide access to the Friend Activity stream.
Notably, the primary content section will not alter from how users now browse, discover, and find suggested podcasts and songs.
The new revamped user interface for MacBook and PC users worldwide is being rolled out as part of Spotify’s new desktop experience.
