LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Kalidou Koulibaly may leave Chelsea after only one season due to offers from Saudi Arabia to join Al-Ittihad.
Sport Zone claims that Kalidou Koulibaly, a defender for Chelsea, has been extended an offer by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) to join Al-Ittihad in the summer.
According to the source, after only one season at Chelsea, who are also willing to let him depart, the 31-year-old may be persuaded to follow Karim Benzema to the Saudi Arabian club.
The Saudi PIF has already contacted the former Napoli player and wants him to join Al-Ittihad, though they may also let him join any other club in the nation.

The international player from Senegal joined the Blues last summer on a four-year deal from Napoli for a transfer fee of ÂŁ34 million plus add-ons.
This season, he played for Chelsea in 32 games across all competitions, where he earned two goals and one assist.
The amount Chelsea would expect to let its defense to leave in the summer after just one season is still unknown.
Koulibaly might be the next well-known player from Europe to travel to the Middle East if PIF agrees to match the Blues’ demand.
