    Man In Police Net For Stealing 21 Cows Worth N7 Million

    LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A 30-year-old resident of Bandila village in the Gulani Local Government Area of Yobe State, Sale Kabo, has been arrested by the Gombe State Police Command for rustling cattle estimated at N7m.

    The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, while parading the suspect, said the case was reported by a 75-year-old man, Jauro Ahmadu, who owned the cattle.

    “He said his 21 cows valued at N7m was stolen from his village at night,” Abubakar added.

    According to the Police spokesman, the Police swung into action and arrested the culprit, who confessed to the crime.

    He noted that all the stolen cows and other relevant exhibits had been recovered.

    Abubakar said, “The suspect is currently in police custody and will be charged as soon as investigation is concluded.”
