LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-AC Milan forward Rafael Leao is apparently among those who are dissatisfied with the player’s departure following Paolo Maldini’s social media reply.
The seasoned Rossoneri defender abruptly quit his job on Tuesday following what was perceived to be a contentious meeting with club executives and owner Gerry Cardinale. Allegations of disputes about recruitment strategy were made.
Regards to those conversations, the club appeared to be in turmoil behind the scenes, much to the chagrin of some of their key players. Director of football Frederic Massara subsequently left the organization.

Perhaps the best example of this is Portuguese attacker Leao, who recently agreed to a five-year contract despite receiving significant attention from clubs throughout Europe, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain.
Leao isn’t the only one disappointed by Maldini and Massara’s exits, according to the Daily Mail, which also quotes Sandro Tonaldi, Mike Maignan, and Theo Hernandez.
As Chelsea searches for a long-term replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Maignan has recently been linked to a move there.
