ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Microblogging media platform, Twitter, has removed the verification badge attached to the account of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This is coming hours after the verification badge of Yemi Osinbajo, the immediate past Vice-President of Nigeria, was removed on Monday.

It was observed that Tinubu’s tag had been removed, as at the time filing this report on Tuesday.
However, the badge on the account of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, remained.
As at the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained why Twitter took such decision with the account of the Nigerian President, despite having more than one million followers.
