Reports had emerged recently about the musician slated to perform at the coronation ceremony of King Charles III, the new British monarch.
The event will take place on 6 May, 2023, at Westminster Abbey, where King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla will be officially crowned.
On 7 May, 2023, a coronation concert and Big Lunch will also be held. Tiwa Savage will be among the elite celebrities, including Steve Winwood, DJ Pete Tong, Lang Lang and Lucy, Paloma Faith, and Olly Murs, who will be entertaining guests at the concert.
The coronation of a British monarch is a significant event in the country’s history and is steeped in tradition and ceremony.
However, Tiwa Savage who is one of the musicians to perform, was embroiled in a scandal over her nudes that were released by a supposed blackmailer.
The singer came out to reveal she was being blackmailed over the nudes and she won’t be silenced.
Awuzie claimed that the possession of her nudes by people could not affect her value to kings.
