ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- A Twitter user, @Truthfully83, has alleged that the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has revoked the C of Os of all banks in the State.
This is following the new naira redesign policy by the Federal Government of Nigeria, which had since kicked against.
Voiceofnaija.ng had reported that El-Rufai accused President Muhammadu Buhari of allowing evil individuals to use him to fight and defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Kaduna Governor also claimed the same people were plotting a military takeover.
El-Rufai claimed that those people who are using the president as an instrument to defeat the APC are doing so because they failed in their bid to force their own candidate on the party during the June 2022 primaries.
Governor El-Rufai stated these while reacting to Buhari’s pronouncement on naira redesign policy and the ongoing currency crisis Nigerians are experiencing.
He went on to announce that all the old naira notes would be valid in Kaduna State.
@Truthfully83 wrote: “I can confirm to you that, the governor of Kaduna State @elrufai has revoked the C of Os of all banks in the State, outside Jaiz Bank, which i can’t confirm her status, over CBN naira redesign policy.
