MINNA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – The unprecedented crowd that welcomed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Niger State for his presidential campaign may be the largest ever seen in Nigeria.
During the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign rally held at the Trade Fair Centre in Minna, the Niger State capital, the party faithful wouldn’t stop trooping in.
The security officials and protocol officers on ground had a torrid time controlling the rampaging residents who could not wait to catch a glimpse of the former Lagos State Governor who was in the company of Kashim Shettima, his running mate.
This is not the first time Tinubu is visiting the north for his political rallies, but even he would have felt overwhelmed by the crowd of supporters who besieged the venue of the event in Niger State.
