ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Engr. Ebere Udeagu, the Former Deputy Governor of Imo State, has died.
He died at the age of 79 years.
He served as deputy governor to former Governor of the State, Achike Udenwa from 1999 to 2007.
A trained water engineer, Udeagu hails from Ihube in Okigwe local government area of Imo State.
According to reports, he died in Owerri, in the early hours of Monday.
A former Governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim, in his condolence message, described Udeagu’s death as saddening.
