IBADAN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, and his running mate, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, have visited former head of state,
Abdulsalami Abubakar at his residence in Minna, Niger State capital.

Obi, who disclosed this on social media, said General Abubakar is a true statesman with an abiding love for Nigeria who fueled their hope for a better future.

He shared photos from.tbeir meeting on Twitter alongside a caption, “It was a pleasure and honour for me and my running mate, Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, to be hosted by Nigeria’s military president, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, GCFR, at his home in Minna today.

Gen Abubakar is a true statesman with an abiding love for Nigeria who fueled our hope for a better future. -PO”
