LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Gunmen have killed a hotel owner, Kayode Akinyemi, at Alomilaya area of Ganmo, Kwara State, for all abducting his friend simply identified as Ori.
Emmanuel Olushola Ojo, the hotel’s manager, was seriously injured and presently recieving treatment at the General Hospital, Ilorin.
The incident threw the area into panic. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Kwara State Command, Ajayi Okasanmi (SP), confirmed the incident, saying the command’s tactical team in conjunction with vigilante and hunters have been mobilised to comb the surrounding bushes for possible rescue of other victims and arrest of the fleeing suspect.
He said the corpse of the victim had been deposited in the general hospital mortuary for autopsy.
